Four of Australia’s most experienced ACT practitioners will help you raise your ACT skill levels in this highly experiential training workshop.
Australia-New Zealand Chapter of Association for Contextual Behavioral Science invites you to a weekend of intensive skills practice, experiential learning, networking and fun. Drawing from the experience of four awesome trainers from across our region, this one-off intermediate to advanced workshop will focus on taking your ACT practice to the next level, including:
• Process-based ACT – distinguish and utilise essential common therapeutic processes at all levels of therapy including intra-personal and interpersonal
• Clinical RFT – learn a simple metaphorical approach that will help you employ the power of Relational Frame Theory to become more creative and effective in ACT
• Functional Analysis – get practical tools and models to be ‘game-ready’ for therapy after the workshop
• Working with in-session behaviours using FAP – learn and practise the 5 rules of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and how to implement them with Awareness, Courage and Love
Together, Matthew Smout, Julie Grove, Rachel Collis and Julian McNally have over 60 years of practice experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy training and the Contextual Behavioural approach to coaching, training, supervision and clinical practice. We have a passion for teaching and training – helping fellow practitioners to overcome the barriers to implementing this approach confidently and proficiently.
